Barkley claim
Ross Barkley will fulfil his potential at Chelsea according to former Everton striker Tony Cottee.
Barkley sealed a £15m move to Chelsea last week and was paraded on the pitch at half time against Arsenal last night.
Some have said it’s a bad move for the England midfielder with a squad packed of talent.
But Cottee thinks he can break into the team and will become a better player training alongside Chelsea’s big boys.
Cottee has also backed Barkley for force his way back into the England set up.
“It was clear that Ross Barkley wasn't going to sign a new contract at Everton so the club's hands were tied, needing to secure a fee for him in January rather than let him walk for free in the summer,” Cottee told sportingbet.
“Chelsea probably doubled the wages of Everton's best offer and you can't blame Barkley for accepting it. I think it suited all parties for him to move on now.
"I think Barkley will fulfil his potential at Chelsea and become an automatic starter for England during the World Cup.
"Ross will become a much better player by training with top players, learning from the likes of Fabregas and Hazard.”

Conte out?
Chelsea have been rocked by reports claiming Juventus’ Massimiliano Allegri has agreed to replace Antonio Conte at the end of the season.
Conte’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain despite the Italian managing to steer the Blues’ season back on track.
However, with the 48-year-old still seething at club owner Roman Abramovich’s reluctance to back him in the transfer market, a parting of the ways could be in the offing.
Chelsea have made a habit of sacking managers despite their achievements, meaning last year’s Premier League title triumph may not be enough to keep Conte at Stamford Bridge.
And Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport say that Allegri, who succeeded Conte at Juventus, has agreed to do the same at Chelsea.
Wenger Morata rant
Arsene Wenger did not take too kindly to Alvaro Morata's antics in Arsenal's draw with Chelsea last night as he watched on from the press box.
The Gunners boss is currently serving a three-match ban by the FA for comments he made about referees.
And it seems the Frenchman hasn't learned his lesson, with suggestions he was unhappy with referee Martin Atkinson and CHelsea forward Morata frustrating him.
The Daily Mail claim Wenger was overheard saying: "Every time he [Alvaro Morata] goes down it's a f****** free-kick!" as he studied the game among journalists.
Hazard to Madrid...
Eden Hazard’s odds of making a move to Chelsea have been cut.
And Paddy Power claim the chances of him making the move have now doubled.
The bookmaker have cut the odds from 12/1 to 5/1 that the Chelsea star heads to the Bernabeu.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Things are already pretty Hazard-ous at Real Madrid, as they trail Barca by some distance in the league.
“But the Bernabeu could feel like the garden of Eden compared to Stamford Bridge.”
Hazard has been linked with Madrid and has knocked back a new contract at Chelsea to see how far interest goes.

Barkley debut against Leicester?
Ross Barkley could be in line to make his Chelsea debut when the Blues host Leicester City this weekend (3pm).
Barkley, who joined from Everton for £15million earlier this week, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the start of the season.
However, the 24-year-old is nearing a return to fitness and could feature against the Foxes.

Batshuayi warning
Chelsea have been warned not to make a similar mistake this month to when they sold Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne.
Sky Sports pundit Tony Gale admits it looks like Batshuayi’s time is up in west London but says they should be careful with w
