Arsenal defender talks
Arsenal want to sign Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from PAS Giannina.
Mavropanos, 20, is said to be available for as little as £2.2m.
Negotiations are underway, claim the London Evening Standard.
And as part of the deal Mavropanos would be loaned to Werder Bremen for the second half of the campaign.
Coutinho replacement odds
Ladbrokes have priced up a whole host of potential replacements for the exit-bound Philippe Coutinho, and Man United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan is among the frontrunners.
The bookies have suspended betting on Coutinho's next destination, and 4/1 says Mkhitaryan replaces him at Anfield.
Elsewhere, 6/1 says Riyad Mahrez swaps Leicester for Liverpool, while Thomas Lemar is a 10/3 shot for a move before the end of next summer's transfer window.

Lemar decides to join Liverpool
Thomas Lemar has decided to join Liverpool to replace Philippe Coutinho, it has sensationally been claimed this afternoon.
Liverpool are on the lookout for replacements for Barcelona-bound Philippe Coutinho and Lemar is their priority target.
According to Yahoo Sport, Liverpool have held talks with Lemar and the France international is keen on a move to Anfield.
It remains to be seen whether Monaco are willing to do business with Liverpool this month but Jurgen Klopp's side are leading the race ahead of their Premier League rivals with Lemar already giving his word he wants to sign.
Iniesta future
Andres Iniesta is reportedly planning to leave the Nou Camp in the summer despite his lifetime contract because of Philippe Coutinho’s expected arrival at the club.
According to Diario Gol, Iniesta has decided to call time on his Barcelona career after this summer’s World Cup.
And that decision’s motivated by not wanting to be marginalised, as fellow club legend Xavi was.
Coutinho has long been linked with a move to Barcelona as Iniesta’s replacement on the left side of midfield.
And it seems the rumours regarding a potentially imminent arrival have forced Iniesta to plan his exit strategy.
Mourinho tightrope
Jose Mourinho’s subtle digs about Manchester United’s spending is not going down well with the club’s hierarchy.
Mourinho claimed the £260million he’s spent in the last 18 months is ‘not enough’.
And his comments about previous transfer windows have left United bosses angry at him for coming across ungrateful for the funding provided.
