Man utd boss jose mourinho threatens to quit unless he signs $158m chelsea star

The Portuguese boss can only be convinced to stay if club chiefs sanction the signing of Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, it's been claimed.

Mourinho has spent a large part of the season complaining that he is being restricted by a lack of transfer funds.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have outspent United and lead the Premier League by a 15 point margin.

It's said the 54-year-old manager believes signing Kante would level the playing field.


The French dynamo has won back-to-back Premier League titles with Leicester and Chelsea.

And according to Spanish publication Don Balon, the Red Devils are reportedly prepared to shell out £159m to prise him away from the Blues.
