Swansea vs West Brom

The
Swans haven't tasted victory in seven Premier League games, losing six. The goalless draw with Bournemouth provided their only respite, before defeats to Chelsea and Stoke City.

They will, however, take some heart from the fact that five of the six defeats came by a margin of only one goal. Nonetheless, they occupy last place in the standings, four points from safety.

"We really need to be getting to a minimum of 12 points by halfway in the season, because any lower than that will mean it's going to be tough. We have got four games to make that happen," Manager Paul Clement expressed in his pre-match press conference.

The Baggies, meanwhile, have endured a similar string of poor results. They have not won a league fixture since the second week of the season. In their last seven games they have lost four and drawn three of their games played.

Newly-appointed manager Alan Pardew, who recently took over from Tony Pulis, managed to earn a point against Crystal Palace last weekend, but will be champing at the bit to lead his side to their first win since August.

"We've lost the least amount of games out of the bottom eight in the Premier League but we've drawn too many. We need to turn those draws into wins," Pardew told his press conference.

In team news, the Welsh outfit are boosted by the return of Federico Fernandez, while Kyle Bartley is still a doubt. West Brom could be reinforced with Matt Phillips and Chris Brunt stepping back into the fray, but Gareth Barry is still out.
